I also need to add more towels to my collection and looking for suggestions.

1) Drying towels - Currently use Meguiar's Water Magnet Drying Towel
2) Detailing towels - Currently use Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Cloths
3) Glass cleaning - Currently use Viking Diamond Weave Microfiber Windshield & Glass Cloth

Is 3d Towel Kleen still the best product to use to clean the above as well?

For drying nothing beats Griot’s PFM.

For the other purposes there are many candidates that work well, it’s not like the drying towels where the PFM is just so much better than anything else.

I share some of my favorite products here and explain the what, why and where,

Must Have Microfiber! At least my opinion (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews-by-mike-phillips/123601-must-have-microfiber-least-my-opinion.html)

I include the Griots Garage PFM Terry Weave Drying Towel for MAINTENANCE washes but not for prep washes.

Drying Towels for Maintenance Wash

I really like the Griots Garage PFM Terry Weave Drying Towel (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/redirect-to/?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.autogeek.net%2Fgriots-garage-pfm-drying-towel.html) for drying cars I've already detailed or a Maintenance Wash. Because these have a nap or LOOP of fiber it is very important that you keep them clean and uncontaminated. In other words - don't drop them on the ground and don't drag them over the ground when drying lower body panels.

For drying, nothing beats a cordless blower. You can blow water out of all the nook and crannies, and get the vehicle mostly dry with minimal effort. When you're done with that, you can finish it off with your favorite QD or drying aid of choice.

If you are like me... be careful. You might be going down a rabbit hole. LOL

I been on a Rag Company trend the last few years (microfiber madness prior to that).

I now have MF towels with different GSM, pile, and weave for drying, polish removal, final buff, coating removal, glass, and general all purpose.

The Griot's PFM is a great towel. Way better than what you are currently using.

What are you using these towels for? The Rag Company Edgeless 365 is a good alternative.

3) Glass cleaning - Currently use Viking Diamond Weave Microfiber Windshield & Glass Cloth

I have not used it a long time but it worked well.

Thanks for all the input so far. Yeah I already use a leaf blower for most of the drying.

Lots of stuff to look at that's for sure.

For waterless/rinseless:

TRC eagle edgeless 250/500

For applying and removal TRC Miner also known as just 365gsm). These are tied with the Forrest Green Cobra towels.

Final buff and QD’s

TRC Pluffles or Everests

Drying

Griots PFM’s. If using drying aid Pluffle.
