I usually get a new mitt and waffle weave drying towels when I get a new car (hint). The last two mitts I got were the Wookie mitts. Any particular wash mitts that you out there like?

This question comes up quite a bit, and like all "What's the Best" questions, this one will generate many opinions.

Me? I have tried many, but still like the good old micro chenille mitts.

They work just fine for me using the best wash techniques.

As for drying towels......... Ever use a Griot's PFM? :)

There is a video somewhere on Youtube that analyzes wash mitts under the microscope. I believe the microfiber was deemed best. The video made me change from sheepskin and I'm going to buy microfiber for now on instead. I'm going to have to buy a boatload because I religiously use multiple mitts per wash.

I bet the microfiber mitts dry a lot easier than the sheepskin

Great link.

These mitts are economical, and I usually get 2 seasons from them for paint duty.

After that, they go to wheel/rocker panel/wheel well service for a few more seasons.

At around $7-8 a mitt, you get a pretty good bang for your buck.

(This is where ordering mitts in different colors comes in handy.)

The different colors are great for designating them for different sections of the car. I'm still going to mark them on the interior

They'll be in my next AG order. I currently have 1 from Mothers and 2 from Chemical Guys, all different colors. 2 are now split on the side.

These are great mitts! I have several similar ones from another vendor, and they clean great with no swirls.
