I'm ready to purchase the Menzerna Super Intensive Polish AND Menzerna Nano Polish, correct me if i'm wrong, I use the SIP first then the NANO then a sealer then a wax (i own souveran wax), o.k which pads should I use for best results, reading through the forum I should not use the orange pad with the SIP, use a white pad for SIP and NANO or does it depend on the cars finish!

You can use the orange pad with sip. I would try the white if that is what you have or the green gives very good results with the sip. I would use a finishing pad with 106ff as it is a finishing polish-the blue or gray pads will work fine with that. You could use the 106ff with a white pad but you should always follow up with a finishing pad.

Good advise. Just remember least aggressive first. That goes for polishes as well.

It'd be good to just purchase 2-3 of each pad for what ever scenario you might come up against. If a car is heavily swirled SIP w/ Orange would be a good bet, but for the most part you can get away with SIP w/ white. Also Nano has a little cut, so for instance my Evo has some slight swirls and I plan on just using Nano with a white pad followed by FP with a blue or grey pad like mentioned above. But I do have 3 of each pad.

what about a black pad? Are they the same as the grey?

So basically I start with the SIP then Nano then the final polish, should I use wolfgangs deep gloss paint sealant to seal it all in? Then use the Souveran paste wax? I guess if the cars paint is really bad use an orange pad with the SIP. If moderate then use a white pad with sip, if fairly new paint then use white pad with Nano. Correct me if i'm wrong! The car that i'll be doing is a 2007 infinity G35 Journey, it has minor swirls and some noticeable scratches any ideas?

You got it, but you always finish with 106ff on a finishing pad even if you used it with a white pad. Wolfgang sealant looks very nice over Menzerna.

So i don't need to apply the menerna final polish? Just use SIP amd NANO then SEALANT.

the Nano 106ff is the final polish.

If you are using the rotary use the ccs pads, they will cause less skipping/jumping, the solid pads or the ccs pads work fine with a pc/udm. I prefer the 5.5 low profile ccs pads, but i use a rotary.

Your own words.

a) For most paint correction PO 106 FA / 106 FF and PO 85 D3.01 polishes (LC White / LC Blue foam pads 1000 RPM) should be all you need.

b) Use PO S34A Power Gloss (LC Purple wool pad 1500 – 1800 RPM) for paint correction / renovation.
It has a short work time slow cut and tends to ‘dust’

These diminishing abrasive polishes are foam pad ‘dependant’ as far as its paint correction / renovation abilities are concerned and require friction to ‘breakdown’ and for this reason they are best suited to a high-speed rotary polisher; remember to use the least invasive product first before ‘stepping-up’ to the next abrasive level. It is preferable to polish 2-3 times to restore the paint film surface than to use an unnecessarily abrasive polish / foam combination

The use of a duel level foam pad (primary / secondary) / single polish correction system; will change the way each polish works in accordance to which pad you use (i.e. use a polishing pad followed by a finishing pad) and will really heighten the paint finish shine.
