Looking to purchase a GOOD extractor but not break the bank as 95% of my work is exterior. I do plan on doing more interiors and the current set up I have includes a basic non-commercial quality extractor and it's meh.

Looking at the Mytee 300H Heated extractor to start. I don't mind the capacity or emptying of it more often. I'll take that over the much larger size of some of the others given space concerns. My main concerns here are that the unit have sufficient EXTRACTION suction and not be a piece of junk. I also want a HEATED unit. I've seen some others that appear well built but aren't as well known.

Thoughts and links to units available? Input on Mytee units by those here that have used or do use them most appreciated. PM me if there are others that I should review or consider. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have the MyTee 300H. I love it. It is pefect for how I do interiors. However, I have a Chief Steamer that I use on every single interior. I do not use the MyTee. It is nice to have when necessary, but I like using steam way more

I have these for my classes,

HP60 Spyder
8070 Lite Mark II
300H

The all work great. The HP60 Spyder is best is you do a lot of extraction work. But for the average person - the 300H is perfect.

Well call me impatient but also trusting. You both provide great insight and I trust you both and pulled the trigger on the 300H just now. My first project with it will actually be a family room couch :) Looking forward to it. Thank you again to both and to AutoGeek. Free shipping was a little something extra that certainly helped. Promo's like that on products are most appreciated.

I have an older bigger one so I’m no help in that department.

Whatever extractor you have, I highly suggest running distilled or filtered water thru it at the end of each and every day you use it. Talking to the Mytee rep about 15 to 20 years ago, he said this is the single most important maintenance procedure. He must have been right because I have never had any issues.

Thank you and good tip. My plan is to NOT run anything but clear filtered (we have a RO System) through the unit. Most all of my cleaning agents are applied as a pre-treatment and any agitation is then applied once it dwells. This for me will litterally be a clean hot water extractor using pure water to pull out the cleaning agents/enzymes and dirt.

Great tip for sure! Thank Doc!
