Sent from my SM-N986U using TapatalkIt is a box fan stand. It was originally built with a matching fan in it.🤠

And is my normal ethical practice - in my how-to books, as in the online world and in the real-world, I NEVER steal other guy's stuff and present it as my own. I always give due credit where credit is due.
Sad to say, this is not the norm in the online detailing world.
This was a technique shared by Bill aka Truitt on this forum. Looks like his last post was in 2010 (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/26334-prestige-auto-detailing-2006-lexus-gs-300-a-3.html#post326686)

Very cool use of an item nearly every person has. I can't wait for the look my wife is going to give me as I repurpose a box fan into a pad dryer.

Mike,
Its my pleasure!
Thank you for linking to your awesome book and putting the page number!
I wish we'd see Bill around again!
I'm so happy with the pad dryer!
I will definitely give due credit where credit is due, especially when I become more skilled at using the forum!
I don't know how you do some of the stuff you do on here but once I get it all figured out it will be awesome!

Its not the best looking but I covered my pad dryer with an old pillow case I cut along the seam to keep the dust off.

If it works, and it's free, then there is no better option, Jacob. ;)
