It's no big deal....

I've used plenty of dish washing detergent in my day.

In fact, I used Dawn for something this year? Here it is,

Review: BLACKFIRE HydroSeal RTU - Ready to Use (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews-by-mike-phillips/123487-review-blackfire-hydroseal-rtu-ready-use.html)

Here we go - a little dish washing detergent I found in one of the break rooms....

I'd have to read this review to remember the context.

But as a normal practice - :bolt:

LOL.
Dawn is a good product for certain things. I've read it's the product of choice when there's major oil spills, and used for clean-up of effected wildlife because it does cut oils very well.

And I've noticed that whenever I've bought and used Dawn, it eats the hell out of my hands, it is too aggressive for dishwashing without gloves, and I never buy it anymore.

With so many other great products out there, I don’t ever see the need for Dawn

Supposedly it is also the only dish soap advertised as "antibacterial" that actually works in that capacity.

Weekend warrior---that is great you took a moment to apologize! Impressed....

Mike prolly knew what happened but yet you took the time to apologize. That saves ton of time trying to figure out what happened!

Hats off to you for doing that!

True story. My mom started showing signs of dementia right about the time of the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico, about 15 years ago. I was sitting with her watching the news, and they were showing naturalists carefully washing waterfowl with Dawn detergent to remove the oil. My mom piped up " Hey? I invented that!" In the next few days I heard she went to high school with Lebron James and Teddy Roosevelt, and lived in 13 different houses while growing up, all in a state different from where she grew up. We made a doctors appointment the next week. Sad disease, but it was stories like this that allowed my wife and I to laugh and keep our sanity through it all.

In a different vein, I can attest that Dawn is the only commercially available soap that can clean a liquid pigment dispersion. My company buys multiple cases of 32 ounce bottles every week.
