I am aware of the fact that WETS is favorite of the board when it comes to trim sealants, but I still searched a bit on the board. I came across this post (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101-a/111726-plastic-trim-i-need-help.html#post1512872 and a 4 month follow-up in the post #13 in the same thread) where WETS didn't perform as good as McKee's or UTTG+.

I wonder if anybody else performed such comparison with other trim sealants?

2015 Forester's trim is holding well (on just regular 303 application) but I would like to find something that will last. Hence looking for a comparison.

I've tried a few but WETS won for me. I do have M37s version of it ( smells pretty much the same at WETS ) but haven't used it yet.I will when WETS is finished with

WETS outlasted McKee's hands down for me on my old Rogue, so it's WETS for me.

I had done an engine compartment test, which may or may not be of use to you. Post 13 I applied M37 and PBL Trim on 10/7/2019 and post 20 I updated on 1/30/2020. Granted, inside the engine compartment is much different than being in outside weather, but that area gets lots of junk hiding in there (leaves, pine needles, dirty water, etc. and it’s not something I clean except once every 2-3 months.

Outside trim from my own experience:
- On exterior trim I usually replace M37 Plastic Trim Restorer every 3-4 months and it’s typically still present/beading at time of re-application.
- On exterior trim (windshield base, rear and front wipers, front panel trim), PBL Ceramic Trim has been going since 1/16/2020 (6 months) and still looks strong.
