After thoroughly washing and waxing my car yesterday ahead of a road trip, how should I perform a maintenance wash to help preserve the wax (Griot’s 3-in-1 Liquid Wax) I laid down yesterday? Thanks for checking our my post.

If you are looking to preserve a wax or a coating, then a pH neutral soap is what you should be using. Meguiars Hyper Wash is a great product that doesn't have any conditioners or additives and it rinses cleanly. It won't clog a coating. Carpro Reset is another good product. My boss told me that he uses Dawn and I cringed when I heard that.

If you want to keep it all GRIOTS, go with their car wash, and follow with their spray on wax used as a drying aid (That is what is it made for). That will maintain your 3-1 product.

Griots Garage Brilliant Finish Car Wash (https://www.autogeek.net/griots-garage-brilliant-finish-car-wash.html)

Griots Garage Spray-On Wax 35 oz. (https://www.autogeek.net/griots-garage-spray-wax.html)

Thank you for the help. I picked up some ph-neutral Griot’s wash yesterday, so I guess I’m set!

Try not to use Reset if you're using anything other than a true coating. It will eat away at your LSP if you're not careful about dilution or if you leave the soap on the paint for too long.
