Good afternoon,

I have a brand new car with less than 500 miles on it. I made up my mind when purchasing it that I was going to try out a ceramic coating on it and decided to go the CanCoat route. My job keeps me gone for a month at a time and my car will sit outside at a heliport or a boat dock for that whole time, I only had enough time before leaving to use what I had on hand at home to try and get a layer of protection on the car. I went ahead and used Klasse AIO on it, I covered everything, even the plastic trim with it. I just wanted something for the month it’s sitting out there. While offshore I ordered all the Gyeon products I will need. I just started wondering, will I be able to get that Klasse off to put the ceramic on? I will wash the car, I have Gyeon Iron, then a clay bar, I also purchased Gyeon Primer and then I have a bottle of Gyeon Prep. Will all of this get the Klasse off? Also what about the plastic trim, I was planning on applying Gyeon Trim, but not sure if I can get the plastic trim free of the Klasse?

Any advice is most appreciated!

The prep stages prior to polishing will degrade it enough to where Primer Polish on a polishing pad will remove KAIO. An APC like Optimum Power Clean should clean up the trim to where you can coat it. Or get some optimum hyper polish and use that on the trim. It does a good job cleaning up trim and it won't stain trim.
