I just got these wheels for my 73 Mach 1 and I'm looking for something safe to use that I can clean them up with without micro marring them. I don't believe they can be polished out of they get some micro scratches. Is it possible to rub out light scratches on this lip? Again, if so what can I use? Thanks

Read through this thread.

Removing very fine scratches in un-coated polished aluminum (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-mike-phillips-your-detailing-questions-/125720-removing-very-fine-scratches-un-coated-polished-aluminum.html)

See what I shared from my friend Rob in post #3. Rob is an expert Harley Davidson Detailer and thus expert metal polisher.

Hey Mike, Thanks for the link. I guess something happened to my old account (New Detailer 1). I've been here for awhile, I just haven't posted in years! I've still been polishing paint on my weekends since 2010 but haven't had much experience with wheels. Hope all is well!
