Yellow stain on paint

There is a yellow stain on the hood of the car.
I tried to remove it with clay unsuccessfully.

Is there other way?

Hard to say what it could be or how to remove, we definitely need some pics.

A vehicle I did last week had a few yellow stains along the side that looked just like this, there were maybe 3 or 4 of them. They were quite faint, but didn’t come off with a wash or light scrubbing. When I polished the car I worked it over these marks and they came out with just a little extra work.
