Hello All,

I just wanted to ask which wheel cleaner do you use for clearcoat and chrome wheels? Thanks.

You can go two ways. Non acid based for clear coats and acid based for chrome. You can use non acid for all rims. You can with some caution, use acid based on clearcoat rims but be very careful not to let it sit too long/or dilute it more than the recommended ratio.

I do not think the PB's cleaner is citrus based...its a acid base ..

Spray & Rinse is a professional grade acidic blended product for the quick and easy removal of brake dust and road grime from most wheels. Just spray it on a cool, wet wheel, let it set for a few minutes and then use a steady hard steam of water to remove. No bending, NO scrubbing, No brushing required.

This product can be used on clearcoated, painted, chrome, and even plastic hub caps, but should NOT be used on uncoated wheels without dilution and spot testing, or hot wheels. For maintenance of wheels, Spray & Rinse can be diluted up to 50% or 1:1 for quick and easy clean up of sealed and well cared for wheels. Use of protective clothing, gloves and goggles is advisable.

citrus based product usally contain D-Limolene or limonene a solvent from the oils in the citrus rinds...

P21S would be the wheel cleaner you are looking for. I prefer the gel formula, but both versions are the best out there.

DP wheel and tire gel for general use. But like D2G said, Meg's Wheel Brightener is amazing, especially on neglected wheels.

It's a 5 liter jug (1.32 gallons), a gallon is 3.78 liters...
No, you can't/shouldn't dillute it. It's powerfull, but you have to leave it on for an hour or so...Or you can use DP gel wheel cleaner for general use...but it's not as powerfull/safe as P21S gel wheel cleaner.
