The dealership that I detail for just hired a moblie car wash service that only Sprays the cars off and chamois them. No washing at all. They don't seem to believe me that this is what is causing the TERRIBLE swirl marks and scratches into the cars. They seem to think that this can't be advioded or prevented. The cars are going to hell and I am upset to see my hard work ruined in the space of an hour. Convince me that this is indeed the cause of the scratches etc.

Spraying alone won't take the industrial fallout off a car. Washing with a good soap alone won't even do it. They have to be nuts not to believe you.

A lot of them do this to their fleets, and some just use a power wash (no soap) and leave them to air dry.

Chamois have no nap ... easy to swirl by itself.

i guess chamois isn't a good thing to use then....how about that california blade?

Will buy a waffle weave if I have to.

Thanks alot for your input guys. I guess that they will just have to pay me to polish the cars again. Not such a bad deal, but it does suck to watch hours of hard work go down the drain right infront of your eyes!

How about talking with them about some of the latest products you know about? Foam gun; DP 4 in 1; HD Guzzlers; QD's; etc. If they are professional they sould appreciate it.

Looks like I need to add that to my cart as well.

My cart is getting to be very expensive....Not as expensive as a new paint job though. :D
