3” polisher recommendation for friend

One of my friends wants to add a 3” polisher to his collection. I have the Rupes mini and am happy with it. Flex & Griots have come out with new models since I bought my mini. I am not familiar with their 3” tools. I’m guessing he can’t go wrong with any of them. I do like the trigger on the Griots, the switch on the Rupes & Flex would be my lone dislike for those two. He is not a professional detailer but appreciates the quality all 3 brands offer.

Perhaps have your friend join the forum and make his own decision. That way if he doesn’t like it, he can’t blame you!
