like a lot of guys on this forum and else where, i can't wait for the wheather to break so i can start detailing again. i have been doing my own cars as well as some friends and familys. this summer, i want to take take it up and notch and start attracting more jobs to do. my question is this, is there a webstite for example, the will give me an idea of how hard the different car manufacturers paint jobs really are and if so could someone send me that site; or if no site exists, maybe just your experience on which cars have either a soft or hard paint job.

Thanks.

Dave.

throw a rock at it ... just joking.

Start with a light pad and finishing polish, if it removes swirls quickly is can be considered soft, it you need to move to much more abrasive pads and polishes to correct then its likely harder.
