I’m looking for a top quality garden hose nozzle to be used for washing vehicles. I don’t care for the fire hose type.

Suggestions appreciated. Thank you

The Gilmour Swivel Connect Heavy Duty Water Nozzle (https://www.autogeek.net/gilmour-spray-nozzle.html)

Couple of things that stood out to me about this particular nozzle:

-I like the swivel on it because now I'm not fighting my hose from time to time

-The spray patterns are decent; I find the flood setting useful for flood rinsing my car while drying and now I don't have to remove the nozzle just to fill up a bucket

Orbit makes some nice ones. I have an Ikris that I like.

I would only get a thumb control sprayer anymore - personal preference.

Before I starting using the foam gun, I always liked the simple brass head nozzle. Simple design with a twist lets you change the spray pattern. Still have one I believe. Here is a Gilmour.

I like these as well. Also, the swivel ones mentioned above are nice.

Whichever one you decide on, be sure to use a quick-disconnect with a shut-off on your hose end.

You'll love being able to switch from the nozzle to no nozzle (for flooding rinses) in seconds with no hassle. (Having to walk over and shut the water off and/or kink the hose).
