Got a chance to use this product today and thought I’d make a review since it’s new and some forum members may be thinking about trying it. I received as part of a giveaway from the kind folks of Autogeek, but below are my honest opinions and they did not ask me to leave any reviews or to say anything on the product. If you have any questions or comments/criticism don’t hesitate to ask or let me know,
Here goes!!
Product: DP Detailing Products AIO Polish and Seal
Where to buy: DP All-In-One Polish & Seal is the advanced, multi-step product you have been waiting for. DP All-In-One Polish & Seal is designed to remove surface (https://www.autogeek.net/xmt-360.html)
Consistency: Thick, almost like caulk
Color: Pink/color of oxidized red single stage paint
Scent: Cherry(so good!)
My Thoughts:
I used this product by hand so honestly didn’t expect any swirl removal. My aim was to brighten up my paint and clean the surface on my recently purchased 30 year old $1200 Miata. This is a Midwest car so has seen probably as many winters as it is years old, there is rust on the lower panels and lacks overall shine from being a daily driver of the previous owner.
I used some foam hand polishing pads and a couple microfibers for product removal and to clean the pads. One fender in particular was quite oxidized and almost flat in color and the paint is failing a bit. I started on this panel and worked around the car, applied to a working area, rubbed in and shortly after wiped off. The product quickly hazes over and if not removed immediately can put up a fight when being buffed off.
Here’s the fender before, 50/50 and after:

Knowing I had planned on just cleaning up the paint and not going for any sort of correction I wasn’t let down by the performance of the product. Other than going “tacky” quickly I am very happy with it. The paint cleaned up very easily and looks so much brighter and glossier. I intended on applying DP Paint Sealant after this but I was tired after applying this by hand(apartment living) like our dads used to and had spent quite a few hours away from the wife. I’ll see how it holds up over the next week or so and apply the sealant later. We are expecting some rain over the next few days so I will post up any beading shots I can get.
Here’s some finished overall shots of the car:
