I have searched high and low to find my favorite bourbon, but alas, with bourbon becoming very "trendy" recently, the distilleries have started rationing and only creating small batching tis driving up costs and making it damn near impossible to find and buy.

BUT! I actually found a bottle online that was willing to ship to me... messed up I'm having to order Kentucky bourbon from the UK!!!!!!!

Anyone else have booze woahs to share?

I'm living in the heart of bourbon. I'm curious what your favorite is.

Blantons is amazing, but extremely hard to find. My go-tos are 1792, Blade and Bow, and Blonde(made by a North Carolina distillery)

It is almost impossible to find. Only time I’ve found it is at a bourbon bar in Delaware I get to only a few times a year.

Haven’t had a ton of bourbons yet but I love trying new ones. Next time I’m at my bourbon bar I will try something different. They have a huge menu to choose from.

Not sure why it’s hard to find in PA.
What did we ever do?

I’m a huge Jefferson’s reserve fan. Ocean (both cask and regular), the Pritchard hill and small batch are my favorites.

Blantons here is easy to find on a regular basis.

From a recent Pappy’s tasting.

The 12 year is nice, 15 is on the hot side and the 20 is my favorite.

I currently LOVE Blanton's.

The total collapse of this Kentucky Bourbon
rackhouse, back in 2018, probably has been
a factor towards its current state of scarcity.

Nearly 20,000 barrels—down the drain. :(

For the money, can't beat Buffalo Trace. I always have some Blanton's hanging around too. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200129/a3ba0f5e2ece148946b7e8938d3be5f0.jpg

I don’t love Buffalo Trace but the wife does.

For about 24-28 bucks you can get some nice small batch Jefferson or something similar.

Love Blade and Bow but frequently forget its name so the wife and I refer it as Bo and Luke when talking bourbon with friends and family. My next door neighbor has two bottles of Blanton’s proving once again that unicorns do exist.

BTW: This is crack in a bottle!

Almost forgot to mention lately I’ve really enjoyed Four Roses Single Barrel and Four Roses Small Batch Select. Currently I’ve fallen for an Australian whiskey aged in red wine barrels, Starward Two-Fold...Aussie car, Aussie whiskey!
