I had a customer come to me with an extremely well kept 99 Ford Bronco that just needed a little love on the 30 year old single stage paint.

Process I used is below.

-Cleaned wheels and tires using Adams tire and rubber cleaner and Adams Wheel Cleaner
-Pre-wash using Adam's shampoo
-Sonax Fallout Remover
-Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
-Cleaned the top with 301 Multisurface Cleaner
1-step correction using a Flex 3401, LC Hybrid orange pads, and Sonax Cut and Finish.
-Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on the painted surfaces, plastic, and chrome
-301 Protectant on the vinyl top
-Applied Adams VRT to the tires

Owner was thrilled with the outcome for such a budget friendly package. Very cool old truck.

Looks awesome! Did you use a metal polish to clean up the chrome exterior mirrors? Or?

Thank you!

I forgot to mention the mirrors. I did hand polish the mirrors quickly while I was waiting for the customer to arrive with some Chemical Guys metal polish. It was a new product for me. I want to try the Blackfire metal polish and sealant. Supposedly it is supposed to be a really good product.

Now that's a proper paint restoration.

This shows what a person that actually knows what they are doing can do to bring the dead back to life. I did a similar project and shared the results about 16 years ago.

:dblthumb2:That Bronco 2 turned our great, especially for a hand applied polish. I noticed in Prin's 55 Chevy thread that you recommended using Meguiars #7 by hand on old single stage paints. Is there an advantage to using that by hand over a machine applied polish like the Cut and Finish I used here?

Awesome work! I had a 1990 Eddie Bauer, black and tan. Bought it brand new in 90. Somebody ordered it and didn't buy it. So comfortable to drive. it couldn't get out of its own way. Defiantly one of the slowest vehicles I have owned, but the most comfortable

Excellent job, glad to see sealants and waxes being used on here. You added a ton of clarity and shine to that Bronco.

That Ford is worth a pretty penny up here in Michigan. Love the color combo.
