This post is a continuation of this thread Rust or Rust Dust Spots or Something Else??? (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101-a/125186-rust-rust-dust-spots-something-else-2.html)

What would you all suggest I do after I use touch-paint? People say I should I wait from 30-90 days to let the car breathe. Only wash and nothing else. OK that makes sense, but what would you all suggest I do as the time passes? Is there an order to this madness? (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101-a/125186-rust-rust-dust-spots-something-else-2.html)Then after the wait is over what should I do or not do? I have NEVER had a car repainted, so I am a N00bie. I am reading conflicting things, can you all help? Thanks

If you repaint a section you should wait 30/60/90 days before sealing it.

For small chip touch-ups it's simply not that critical. In a perfect world waiting will certainly not do any harm, but in the real world sealing over a small chip touch-up in a few days isn't going to do any harm either.
