What do you guys coat your snow blower augers/impellers/chutes with?

.... I dunno about those guys but if it were me ... I’d move & coat them in layers of Floridian Sunshine.

You are seriously gonna laugh at me but..... Optimum cat wax or Ultima waterless wash with Acrylic. I helps keeps things from sticking. Just a quick spray and wipe each session.

Lmao!

Well, hit me in the face with a tack hammer for excluding the men SO far south that their winters are opposite of ours. ;)

No laughing at all. That sounds like a good one.

I remember getting a snow thrower for the first time and how thankful I was because it SO beat shoveling snow! Still had to use the shovel though after the snow plow buried the base of my driveway with boulders of snow [emoji3525][emoji35]

Whatever spray wax I have left from summer. Usually hit it 3-4X thru the winter

Have you ever successfully wax'ed a cat? Any cats I've owned probably would have shredded my up if I even tried.

I am ashamed to say that I don’t coat the snow blower at all. I enjoy scraping the slush out of the chute and augers. It reminds me of making snow cones.

And, you're probably wearing shorts as you do it UD.

DuPont "Snow and Ice" is some good stuff, has Teflon and silicone in it. "Snow Jet" is another one I have used but I liked the DuPont one better.

I use silicone spray on the auger every time I snow blow the driveway. Not familiar with DuPont Snow and Ice I will have to check that out.

No, but I think it is done all the time. Another word for "cat" though. ;)
