Brought the car in for routine service and specifically requested no car wash...my service advisor knows me very well and even said it before I did...and they washed it and the swirled the cr@p out of the sides, trunk, and a little of the hood! Needless to say I was very upset as well as my service advisor was upset too! The wash itself was horrible to boot so I had to rewash the car when I got home!

So the three coats of liquid Souveran I applied last weekend are getting polished off with BF One Step right now! Thank goodness it’s not that difficult since the car was in great shape and BF One Step is simply awesome, just a few passes to each section is doing the trick so far.

I’ll be writing an email to the dealership in the coming days voicing my complaints loudly! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191116/1d2af9834cae3ee3eb261529862b69ee.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191116/ecceeac8ea04caa97e3e64c7837f2548.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191116/64725ebb9b7562fa559f7f9a436364a3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191116/a73dd620d283c17a860a6dbea86cd5ae.jpg

Pictures don’t do it any justice, park the car in the sun...hammered!

Holy crap...they ruined it! Is that the same car you posted pics of in another post where you first tried the Liquid Souveran?

So sad to see and hear Jay. This has been up so many times as in what dealerships do to the vehicals. I can't understand how they just can keep going on. Hope they do something extra for the extra work you get to do. And not a free wash LOL.

That car wash from the dealer is supposed to be a "courtesy". They end up making a mess instead. The towels they use resemble used diapers.

You might want to consider writing a formal letter to corporate fully explaining your experience and why you are upset. If a car is washed any way even if the service advisor knows it’s not supposed to and it’s in writing, there is something definitely wrong in the chain of communication.

Who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky and corporate will be able to stop the dealer from washing cars altogether. But you got to let them know first.

I wouldn’t even want them touching my car again.

Definitely not acceptable. I once put a sticky note stating not to wash on the steering wheel of my old Silverado. It was 99% swirl free and just had some collinite applied.

Situations like yours happens because the average person gets such a hard on for a "free car wash".

Ok...the world can now continue to rotate and the sun can rise tomorrow! Four hours of correcting with BF One Step and LC White Pads did the trick!

Glad you got it restored but it was too bad you had to set aside time to do it in the first place.

Hope we can trust them to not wash our car when we request it.
