I want to do my GF's car (2018 dark metallic blue Acura SUV) before winter here in Boston.

But I have a torn rotator cuff which makes handling a DA or even lots of rubbing a problem/non-starter.

I'm planning on good wash, clay mitt and then an LSP to cover her car till spring. The car spends
a good chunk of time un-garaged.

Sooo, my arsenal of LSP's include:
Collinite 845, 476 & 915 (can't really use 476 & 915 currently)
Ultima PaintGuard
Gtechniq C2V3
PNS & BSD
Meg Tech Wax
Jescar Powerlock
Wolfg. DGPS
Duragloss 111

>> Seeking suggestions as to longest lasting and least stressful on shoulder.

•IMO:
-There are no duds among any of the above
listed LSPs; but there are too many variables
associated with each individual person’s/vehicles’
locale to actually determine the “longest lasting”.

-On the other hand: The least stressful on the
shoulder/rotator-cuff-muscles is a no-brainer:
none other than Ultima PaintGuard (+): the
original Wipe-On/Walk-Away Sealant. :xyxthumbs:

>Hope your rehabilitation is successful.

PNS and BSD would be a good choice.

How about 10 min paint sealant? I dont think you even have to buff it off

Meguiars fast finish too. It's a nice looking, under rated, product that came out at the wrong time.

I think it's overlooked in the sio2 generation. Super easy to apply and nice look for the ease it takes to apply

I would have to agree with this.

WG DGPS, Powerlock or Collinite 845 - long lasting, not very stressful on shoulder when applied thin. Other choices are easier on the shoulder (UPGP, 10 Min PS, C2V3) but I don’t know how well they will last in Boston winter. Others last well but buff off might be painful (PNS, BSD)

Supposedly lasts a year too.

Any spray on, rinse off product would be the easiest but I don't think that it will get you through a winter here in Southern New England. A good coat of Collinite 845 would last longer. I apply it to my truck every November and it will usually last until early March. I am still waiting for the Autogeek Collinite Warmer to come to market. The 845 gels up rather quickly when its 40 degrees.

Thanks. Yea, I have Hydro2 and agree w/ you.

I just need to watch her face as I tape off the hood and do a 3way shootout between 845, PNS & C2V3 :D

Of course, use a warm water bath to get the 845 to flow or one of those USB cup warmers.

Glad your shoulder/etc. is feeling better. :dblthumb2:
(Just don’t overdo it.)

Thanks but it's not really (surgery in a couple of weeks), but I think I can get her to help so as to minimize
my shoulder. Buffing out the 915 on my car was its own piece o' pain :D

easy wipe off/buff is OK.

PNS and BSD would be a good choice.

PNS requires a lot of elbow grease. I wouldn't suggest it in this case.

Thanks everyone.

Tried PNS but is was too grabby and kind of left too much lint (which really shows up on dark blue) from the towel
so in the end, went w/ a double coat of C2V3 (and notice my 'helper' :D)

P&S brake buster w/ Woolie
303 Tire Balm
Wolf. Trim Sealant
GTechniq W4 PreFoam
Opti Car Wash
Clay towel w/ Immolube & NanoGlide
C2V3 (2x w/ 1 hour wait)
Aquapel
Opti PowerClean
Nextzett Cockpit Premium
