How badly is it oxidized?

Apologies I didn't see this until just now.

When you made the original post we had Rod Kraft here from Griot's and Rod, Yancy and I were shooting a video.

Besides that, I was unpacking from the Ohio Roadshow Class and setting up for the September 3-day class.

It was hyper-busy to say the least.

Here's what I would recommend and also do.

Get a quart or 2 of BLACKFIRE One Step and about a dozen foam cutting pads.

The BF One Step will remove the oxidation, polish the surface and leave it protected in ONE STEP.

You asked what compound to use?

If you use a compound, at a minimum you will have to go around the Travel Trailer TWICE - once to compound it and a second time to seal it.

If the compound you uses doesn't polish out to a acceptable level - then you'll need to do a second step after compounding and then seal.

By using the BLACKFIRE One Step you can do all three in one step.

Here's the link to the BF One Step on the AG store

And.... here's a testimony about how great this product works from my budding in New Zealand.

Kiwi experience with Blackfire One Step!! (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/124820-kiwi-experience-blackfire-one-step.html)

It's really that good. I show it in all my classes and the verdict is always the same.

Everyone loves it and everyone buys it.

Hey jzaldivar.

Meguiars One Step compound is just that - a One Step COMPOUND. You’re still going to need to do another step to seal the surface after you compound it. Whereas Blackfire One Step is a true One Step. The two aren’t comparable, they’re for completely different uses.
