New FLEX Tool - See it on AutogeekOnline.net this Sunday!

I've been given permission from Chris Metcalf to announce a brand new FLEX tool is going to be introduced this Sunday from the corporate office in Germany. I do not know the time of the announcement.

I have also been given permission to share this one single picture.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/715/New_FLEX_TOOL_Mike_Phillips.jpg

I have a complete write-up with 48 more pictures showcasing the new FLEX tool.

And of course, thank you Chris and FLEX for letting me see and test out the new tool when it was a prototype.

It's going to be a BIG HIT!

That's funny...

It's on my Facebook too. I just finished processing all the pictures I took with Chris Metcalf about a month ago.

I appreciate the trust I receive from Chris and FLEX to be a part of launching their new tool.

I'm also elated to be getting one of the FIRST units to arrive to American shores.

If it is offered by Flex, I am sure it will be something incredible.

Also just to add,

I'll be teaching the second day of my 2-day Roadshow Class in Ohio. Chris Metcalf will be there with me on Saturday.

But as soon as FLEX in Germany makes it public I will make my write-up public here on the AGO car detailing discussion forum.

LOTS of picture showing every little detail.

Stay tuned.... Cool stuff...

Hands-on - No chairs
Our classes are unique in the industry as they are 100% on your feet, hands-on training. There simply are no chairs. If you learn better by sitting in a chair and listening to someone talk then you'll need to find a different class. All ways of learning are good, but my classes are on your feet, working on cars.

Mike,

That tool doesn't look very ergonomic. Looks kinda "boxy".

I guess we shall see.

Stop lurking and join the forum today! (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-mike-phillips-your-detailing-questions/97089-stop-lurking-join-forum-today.html)

I read posts everyday from people that have been lurking for years! Then one day they finally click the link to join the forum and join so they can either ask questions or answer questions for other forum members.

This is a great forum. Not a good forum but a great forum. I know from first hand experiences that on most forums the members are brash and sometimes just downright rude and especially to new members merely asking questions.

Not here.

We don't allow that kind of behavior on this forum. My personal experience on other forums made me leave and never come back. For this reason I personally have always strived to make any forum I'm a part of both friendly and helpful.

That's why you don't see people asking questions only to have the forum bullies answer,

Use the search button

Nope... not going to happen here.

You ask a question and the norm is you get all the information you were looking for and hoping for and that's what a great forum is all about.

So if you're reading this and you've been lurking for days or months or even years then make the leap of faith that you're truly joining a top notch, professional grade forum and join in the fun.

If you're reading this and you've made the transition from lurker to member then chime in with your story. I know you'll inspire others to do the same.

Also... on this forum there is no such thing as a dumb question. We ALL started in the same place and that's knowing nothing. Even me.

The only way you learn is to ask questions. So instead of lurking and searching for questions and answers members have asked do yourself a favor and join in the fun an be part of the best detailing discussion forum on the net. I guarantee it.

Amen, Mike!

I have left other forums for good for the same reason.

On one, I was banned for bullying the bullies. Lol

None of that nonsense here. :)

Listen what he says folks- he is 100% right on this-- this is THE ONLY FORUM ( And I am on a LOT of forums ) that have never told me to use the search button. This is my co- favorite forum ( Autopia being the other) for this reason. Mike runs a great forum here

Thanks for all you do Mike.

None of that nonsense here. :)

When I first came to AGO in 2009 there was just one forum rule and it basically said, be nice. There were a handful troublemakers ruining the forum. It took about a year to get rid of them and that was after we implemented the forum rules I wrote for MeguiarsOnline.com

Rules are like boundaries- without them the riff-raff takes advantage of the goodwill of others.
