Over 2 days, I managed to detail my car for the first time with Klasse AIO and high gloss sealant. The results are way better than I expected. One of the neighbors who drives Uber on the weekends suggested I should top Collinite 845 on this. I was under the impression that Klasse couple is enough.

I checked Youtube to see if anyone has tried such a thing. Didn't find anything but I found contrasting views with Jescar Powerlock + Collinite 845. I have no idea how similar Jescar Powerlock and Klasse High Gloss Sealant are, so I may be on the point or far from it.

YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34GKKyrFrFI) Obsessed Garage is in favor of using both together and Scott from Dallas Paint Correction YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVbf_QslbOk) is against it. I know Scott is a kind of maverick but to me, his logic makes sense. I just don't know if that logic is right.

What do other people think, does it make sense to top a sealant with Collinite 845?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I don't have a DA polisher so Collinite 845 application will be by hand if anyone wants to know before commenting.

IMO:
1.) Collinite #845’s product description
is a little ambiguous when it comes to
determining if it’s a Wax, or a Hybrid
{a Wax/Sealant combo}. I’ll commit to
saying it has Sealant-like characteristics.

2.) It’s not set-in-stone...but the current,
recognized by the majority of the Detailing
World, process is that, if you’re going to “top”
it’s: Wax over Sealant.

3.) With those two POVs in mind...then: Yes,
you can top “The Klasse Twins” with #845.

4.) However...if you do, it now becomes
your turn to let the rest of us know if the
results were actually worth the time, effort,
and money to do so.

To conclude:
•For me, I would go one of these two routes:
A.) Apply “The Klasse Twins”; wait 12-24 hours
and add another layer of Klasse HGSG (for total
coverage); and, then: call it quits ‘til the next
thorough detailing session comes about.
B.) Apply Klasse AIO (for cleaning the paint);
apply a layer of Collinite #845; wait 12-24 hours
and add another layer of #845 (for total coverage);
and call it quits ‘til the next thorough detailing
session rolls around.

Me, I'd say why kill yourself? Save the colly for another day, or another ride.
