I own them both and have used them each once. I can't say I developed an overwhelming preference for either, but maybe leaning towards 360 a little.

Anyhow, this weekend I intend to 1 step the silverado with <2k miles on it before winter. She's mint and looking for protection above all else. Any votes one way or the other? Please dont suggest another product.

I recommend HD.
I have no idea what MK360 is so I can only go with what I know and used.

I have only used Speed like Monica said. It's a great product.

However, if you are going for protection as you stated, neither the 360 or Speed are known for long-lasting protection.

Hello,

I have used 360 and topped it with Wolfgang si02 silica spray. Made it through the Chicago winter with no problem. In fact, it worked so well I may use this combo again instead of putting on a coating.

I've used both extensively and, like Paul said, neither offers any substantial protection. My preference is always HD Speed over M37 360.

Having said that, I wouldn't discount waterman's experience although that included a topper.

I have to say, I believe M37 360 has fantastic protection and longevity for an AIO. Hands down, this would be my choice given the protection criteria you want, even though I like Speed a bit more for looks on black.

My dad’s white Lexus got more than 6 spring-through-summer months with 360 alone.

From personal experience, 360 will last longer than Speed.

HD Speed is my favorite "fast" product. I am sure alot of it is just fillers, but man can it shine up a car and make it look great from a distance. Not everybody has the time or budget to do a real correction.

HDSpeed. Longetivity depends on where you live

M37 360 and M37 10min paint sealant should do the trick.

These responses would seem to suggest a pretty even battle for each product.

I would suggest going with what your gut tells you and if you lean towards M37 have at it.

Better yet, do half M37 and the other half Speed and test both out. They are both excellent products and you can't go wrong either way.

How do you like your Silverado? I have a 17 High Country. Been eyeing the new Diesels coming out.

I should add that I've always topped my AIOs a month or so after with mk 10 minute. I intend to try some other spray and wipes when my bottle runs out. I'd also say that my truck lasted really well last winter with mk360, so sure it's not ceramic coated or a good seal like powerlock or colonite, but it's still pretty good.

anyhow i never got around to the detail this last weekend, but I hope to give it a go this weekend.

yeah that's exactly why i posted the topic haha. THere isn't a clear winner. I will say that i had a lot less dusting with 360, but I also felt like hdspeed had a lot nicer shine. my wife's car is 2.5 months post speed and it doesn't seem to be holding as well as my truck did with 360.

Maybe that's what it comes down to? shine vs protection tradeoff.

i went from a 16 to a 19, so not a ton has changed. Some nice feature upgrades like push button start, button release tailgate, push button ebrake. decent gas mileage, good ride. There are some changes i dont like with simple things like no sunglass holder and no usb ports in the center armrest. Overall though it's a great truck. Generally I'm not sure I got a lot more with my z71 RST for the added cost vs my 16 LT Z71. Looks are subjective of course, but I really like the black RST with 20's. Just seems like they're nickle and dimming basic things.
