View Full Version : What's going on with this leather seat?
This is the backside of the front seat in a 2019 Ford truck. (Sorry for the crappy photo, tapatalk isn't working this morning!)

Looks like some other chemical or substance contacted that area.

Looks like some type of lotion residue. Either sunscreen or body lotion. I see that a lot on turn signals, gear shifts and steering wheels.

Had the same thing in my car - suntan lotion on my seats. I used Griot's Interior cleaner, but any interior cleaner would work and it worked well.

How should I clean that up?I used OPC Optimum Power Clean... 5:1 ... with a good microfiber ... Maybe a soft boars hair brush if it's giving you problems. Follow that with some sort of protection
