I may have started backwards but ok so far until now. When do you detail chrome, polished stainless and billet aluminum that is mounted to the car such as moldings, drip rails, door handles, marker lights, tail lights etc.
Do you polish and then tape off before polishing the paint or do you carefully do it last? And when last? Last last or before lsp last?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190824/e3b508ef9d8429e0a1d9ccf533608e6a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190824/11f22992604b8a5e76649c00883e7583.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190824/66e92c2373045e2422f31a2a3b1fce5f.jpg

Should have stated:

Wheels were taken off and wheel wells cleaned and detailed

Wheels were polished, put back on the car and bagged

Car was washed

In the process of claybar now and the above hit me

You can literally do it it whatever order you like. Polish trim first or after paint doesn’t really matter. Depending on what products your using you could even do it all at once. No matter what order you choose, I would definitely do it before your LSP.

Thanks - I polished everything 1st and then sealed it when I sealed the paint and wiped it off the same time
