Not huge fans of 4th of July fireworks- always makes our dogs on edge.

We live outside the city limits and still the noise startles Mojito.

Agreed Mike.

I am not opposed to sanctioned firework displays.

It is the backyard drunken a$$ cowboys that disturb everyone else by lighting off fireworks. And, it is not one show. It goes on for hours sporadically, keeping animals on edge all day long.

It is inconsiderate at best, and dangerous at worst.
