Had my quarter panel repainted after an accident, ive seen the consensus is to wait 30-60 days before waxing/sealing, however the body shop used PPG enviro waterbased paint and said it was ok to apply wax right away. I cant find any information from PPGs website and was curious if anyone knew or can advise?

I guess worse case is i can use Meguirs 305 to get my by.

Thanks for the help.

They know their paint/paint processes better
than I—prompting my suggestions as follows:

1.) If they gave you a Warranty:
Trust them on the “it’s ok
to apply wax right away”.

Otherwise, IMO:
2.) Meguiar’s M305 is an excellent ‘tweener
that’ll get you through the next 60-90 days.

Wait 30 days before using a silicon based product or coating. Otherwise you can polish or correct it right away. Use 3D 505 and you'll be fine.
