G’day my Autogeek Family. :xyxthumbs:

This one is another one I’m unsure if you guys in America get domestically. I’m guessing by the full size trucks you guys have, there would be little market for a truck (Ute) like this but hey, maybe you do.

Just in case - I’m gonna share some pictures of it anyhow.

Brand new, it arrived at the shop untouched, still with excessive delivery writing all over the windows & in its natural dirty state. This was specified by the owners to the dealership. :props:

No one was to touch it other than the PD checks & I was impressed they had listened, geeze - it didn’t even get the extreme tyre dressing drowning normally associated with most automotive workshops around here.

Full decontamination wash process was carried out, & the paintwork was in fairly good shape. A couple of bird bombs were evident but posed little problems. A few factory holograms were located on the sail panels but other than that the paint was good.

It did give the appearance it was a little “dry” but a few passes all around with 3D ONE on a Lake Country Manufacturing Orange CCS Pads on the Flex 3401 sorted everything out & the Shine came out. :buffing:

CQuartz CQUK Installed & it looked the part.

Here’s the pictures.

Great work once again Aaryn and I see, like with the wagon you did, that gloss black wheels are a thing around the world apparently[emoji848]

Beautiful, Aaryn. Wouldn't it be nice if new vehicles were actually delivered like that?

Well, no, cus then you can't do your magic.

Hi Aaryn,

Thanks for sharing. :dblthumb2:

Yes ... it’s an epidemic. It’s refreshing to see a wheel option that isn’t black ... black black black ... matte black, satin black, gloss black . . . :nomore:

Thank you Paul A. :xyxthumbs:

Hahaha, My Wife got her car from the same dealership delivered in the same manner - untouched. :props:
I get it though mate, & yes I think everyone buying a new car deserves to have it delivered detailed properly. :buffing:

Wow Cool, thank you Bob! :xyxthumbs:

Remarkably similar huh. Actually the body itself looks identical & the bed & front end very similar but with more “pumped” fenders. Interesting. Thanks for chiming in Bob, much appreciated. :props:

Thank you pro 4x. :xyxthumbs:

Nice! Your one looks very smart indeed. Tell me guys - what’s under the hood? Our versions here are the 2.8L 4 Cylinder Duramax Diesel, 500Nm torque, 147kw ...

My Wife Ange has the SUV version (Trailblazer) which is virtually the same but has a trunk & two more seats in place of the bed. Goes remarkably well to be fair.

What is that roll bar thing in the Aus one supposed to be for?

Generally speaking...
“Sailplanes” are examples of
aerodynamic efficiency.

More specifically...
In the case of this type of sailplane:
It’s mostly for aesthetics (although purely
subjective, IMO); supposedly meant to tidy
up the mid-section area of the pickup.

And just like tides...
Their popularity in the USA ebbs and flows.

Stunning work Aaryn! The red paint looks proper now.

The owner knew what he was doing when he instructed the dealership not to touch his new Ute.
