Im thinking about getting one. Do they work well for washing cars, gutters, patios and driveways ? Im interested in the Stanley washer that puts out 2100 psi. The price is $ 144.00 at Home Depot and it comes with a foam cannon. Anyone with advice or comments they care to share ?.......Thanks in advance.

I have a Greenworks. I bought a foam cannon yesterday. Mine is electric and has 1700 psi. Great for foaming my Ram and my wife's Durango. She had fun once cleaning the back patio.

Pressure washers are the only way to wash cars ;) Safest and most efficient way to remove heavy dirt from the paint. I strongly suggest you get one.

2100 PSI would do fine. Just make sure you have a 15 degree, 25 degree and 40 degree nozzle. The 15 is good to remove dirt on the vehicle, the 25 is perfect to clean wheels, and the 40 is great rinse out the car or clean the engine bay.

Never use a turbo nozzle or 0 degree nozzle on the car, you can strip the paint right out with those.

Have fun! ;)

The electric ones do great for washing cars and blowing out gutters....patios and driveways, depending on the size, will present a tough task for them. Absolutely pick one up and get yourself a 20.00 foam cannon off of Amazon...makes washing cars much more fun

I have a Greenworks (1,700psi).

4th season using this thing... I love it! Gets any job done I've used it for to-date. It's also light enough I can pick it up myself.

I think I bought it on sale at Lowes for $100!

Got a 2300 psi 1.2 gsm ryobi with brushless motor solid machine and clean patios no problem. With such low gsm driveway would take some time.

Bought this to do driveway.... hope it works.

2100 PSI 2.1 GPM Ryobi and mtm hose and gun upgrade kit. Use it for car, deck and siding. Only issue I see with it is my water pressure isn’t great so upon initial startup sometimes the pressure lags as a little air gets in the system. Bought it as a refurb unit for $75. Had it for 2 years

I've had an AR383 for a few years now. I use it every time I do a 2BM to get all the heavy dirt/grit off before I start my wash. Have also used it to PW the deck and concrete and it works very well for both those uses. Easy to find individual parts online also, either from Blue Clean or Amazon. I've had to replace some o-rings as well as the snap-on intake port where the hose screws in. I do the pump saver before every winter and store it in the basement.

I never use the turbo nozzle, but have thought about trying it on the "carpeted" wheel well inserts to see if it cleans them any better than the standard nozzle.

I can also speak to the Greenworks 1500. I enjoy it and it has definitely proven strong enough for washing my Volvo XC90. I do almost exclusively do touchless washes now. I might do a little bit of agitation when the foam is dwelling but using the PW eliminates any scratches from your weekly wash.

Yup - a PW is great tool to have overall:
-- I use it all the time for car washing
-- I have on of those spinning surface brushes as well - works great to clean my deck
-- I used it last time to clean the gutters & Siding

Pretty sure you can on and on for things it can be used for - but that should help you justify the cost to the CFO if needed...:xyxthumbs::awesome::buffing:
