For those that are just waking up and not aware, we had 12+ tornado's hit Ohio late yesterday (11pm or so) with the area around Dayton and north (about :45 to 1hr) from me devastated by 2 powerful ones. Details still coming in but I hope that anyone here impacted are safe and know that others are thinking of them.

Just a side note...this has been one hellofa spring everywhere. We've had way tooo much rain, but when you put flooding, tornados into the mix...ours is just an inconvenience.

Be safe everyone!

Prayers sent to those affected for sure.

I used to kind of scoff at the Global Warming theories, but I am now rethinking my stance given the way the last few years have been going.

Harvard University's David Keith wants to release particulates into the atmosphere to mitigate the possible phenomenon. That's supposed to start this year.

Not sure how I feel about that one!

•As a homeowner and car enthusiast...

-I’m thankful to Global Warming for so
many vendible commodities including,
but not limited to: coal; petroleum/“crude”;
and, of course, Montan Wax.

Excellent point, Bob.

The Jurassic period did indeed endow us with such.

And it took a venerable dinosaur to bring this point our attention! :)
