This is my review of Blackfire HydroSeal Concentrate. I had anxiously been awaiting the release of this product in the Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice line and was very excited when PBMG included a bottle in my last order. I am a huge fan of spray on/rinse off sealants and have been using CarPro Hydro and McKees37 Hydro Blue since their release. I don't use them in the traditional sense of a LSP but my primary use of these products is for wheel protection. I can't think of an easier way to protect and make wheel maintenance a breeze than these type of products. Spray the product on your wheel, rinse with a high pressure water stream, and your wheels are all protected. The other good news is that Blackfire HydroSeal Concentrate is in a concentrate form and is mixed at a 1:7 ration or 4 ounces for a 32 ounce bottle.

BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate is already such an incredible product, the only way it could be made better is to make it even more affordable than it already is! BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate gives both the professional detailer and detailing enthusiast the ideal protection at the ideal price! With a dilution ratio of 1:7, a mere 4 oz. of BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate can give up a full 32 oz. of pure SiO2 protection! BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate is an expertly formulated product designed to make applying durable SiO2 protection to your paint easier than it has ever been. A simple spray and rinse application means you can provide intense hydrophobic properties to your entire paint surface in mere minutes!

Directions for Use:

Dilute accordingly.
Wash entire vehicle but do NOT dry - HydroSeal Concentrate is applied to wet surfaces!
After rinsing away your car wash, simply spray HydroSeal Concentrate directly onto the surface to be treated and immediately rinse away with your hose using a strong jet of water.
Continue around the vehicle working one panel at a time.
Following best practices, be sure to dry once completed.

Do not use on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.

Cost: $34.99 for 8 ounces that makes 64 ounces of usable product.

I misted the product lightly onto the wheels on my 2013 Dodge Ram and rinsed with a strong jet of water from my pressure washer.

All protected and beading nicely !!

Cost Comparisons:

This is a cost comparison to other spray on/rinse off products of similar nature:

CarPro Hydro -100 ml for $19.99 mixed at 1:6 ratio
Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice Concentrate 4 oz for $21.99 mixed at 1:7
McKees37 Hydro Blue 16 ounces for $19.99 (ready to use)

Final Thoughts:

Blackfire HydroSeal Concentrate was a fantastic to product to use. I didn't experience any streaking when rinsing and after a rain last night the wheels had fanstatic beading and were super slick. Blackfire HydroSeal Concentrate is a excellent addition to the Blackfire Pro Detailers Choice product line.

You would think the RTU Hydro seal should also be out soon?
