Hello all, first post after presentation so i hope i got the right section.

I did get the car like 10 days ago from the dealership, and, even if the paint surface seems pretty good, with just some swirl but very rare (1 every 30cmq), i'm sure they did wash it 2 times and without necessary precautions/tools :(

I noticed in particular that my B Pillars have a lot of scratches on the surface, here the pic:

So i decided to give it a try, and used Carpro Essence by hand, and initially the result was quite good (left pillar):

(btw can i embed vimeo videos here?)

Actually i think i just covered it with Essence fillers, because the day after the pillar i did work on was almost as before....
I did watch many videos on the tube, but not sure if Menzerna 3800 would be better than essence or not, and which kind of protection i could apply after polishing it.

Would appreciate any tip/link, thanks in advance!

Soft white pad and Essence on a polisher will fix those in less than 30 seconds. Here are some from a detail I just did this weekend and these were as bad as yours.

Seems a job well done there!
I got Rupes white pads, 50mm are ok?
Thanks!

Hi that looks great ! Is Menzerna Super Finish 3500 comparable to Essence ? I am going to have a go. I have watched some videos and know at least to tape up the rubber seals real good ...

Have you considered to PPF them when you have getting them swirl free?

3M have some PPF stripes in different sizes and think it's pretty straight forward to mount them yourself. An easy and long protecting solution.

The Rupes White pad would be fine to use. But depending on the depth of the swirls you may need to be going up in aggressiveness of the pad. And if needed doing a 2 step with finishing with the Rupes white foam pad for getting it haze/micro marring free. Feel the place you polishing from time to time so you don't get too much heat build up.
