Year: 67 Make: Pont Model: GTO Convert (Red)

General Notes:

Wheels and rims washed.

Tires dressed.

Inner and outer glass cleaned.

Carpets vacuumed.

Seats/Door panels/Dash cleaned.

Convertible top vacuumed, cleaned with RaggTop Vinyl cleaner and washed with rinseless wash and dried.

Waterless and rinseless wash was used to wash paint and dried.

Paint clayed barred and dried.

Note: The car was heavily compounded leaving me with no material left for me to correct the horizontal panels (Trunk and Hood) to satisfaction.

CarPro Essence was used to lightly polish the hood and trunk producing a high gloss finish with durable resins for filling in fine scratches.

HD Speed was used on the vertical panels (side of the car). Speed uses stronger abrasives than Essence which provides a deeper paint correction removing light scratches and swirls creating a high gloss sheen at the same time.

The whole car was sealed with McKee's High Def sealant for a 6 month protection.

That one was rough! You saved another one from the paint booth.

Hate to say---trunk lid was toast.

Had paint transfer onto pads---told owner that clear was gone.

Hood was much better---by narrow margin.

This was was one of my more enjoyable detail.
