I want to order some one of these two tonight before sales end. What would be your pick for me (and why, if you want to share)? I have High Gloss but want one of the more durable PA spritz. Will be using as standalone or topper on Essence (won’t be used as a coating topper).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I don't think it's that much difference between them. But Viking is considered as the one with the little extra in harsher winter environment. That's what I would think of as a stand alone LSP at least.

I went with Viking, per SWETM’s suggestion.

I did end up going with Viking 500ml, but a few days later I went with 200ml Cosmic during an AG 25% off sale.

The stupid sprayer on the Viking didn’t want to work, so I used Cosmic on both my cars after a orange pad polish and then Essence Gloss pad coat.

Holy beading!!! We took the SUV on a family vacation up to Syracuse, got caught in a few massive T-Storms on the way up. I’ve never seen water race off paint so fast. I’ve seen a lot of good water behavior, but this was special (and no, I’m not a coating guy yet).

Here’s some initial pics (the Audi taken a few weeks ago). I’ll also do some new ones of my car in a day or so because it already looks glossier than these pics I took at initial application.

I have not, I never tried again after the sprayer didn’t work. Might have to save it for pre-winter cause I have so many toppers to try between now and then, I’m trying to save the longer lasting ones as sort of “base coats” (IGL, Moonlight, PBL Surface, maybe Viking) and get the max usage out of the shorter term ones for this summer.

With that being said, my mood can change daily.

A few pics from this morning. Note the black Audi has a thin layer of grass pollen on it, but still looks super shiny from > 5’ away:

Looking awesome!

You can use any sprayer on the Viking bottle. If the straw is to long just cut it in the length you want. When I'm down to the last 2 sprays I useally hold the bottle upside down and spray. That way it's useally emptied the spray handle or an extra spray until it's empty to places you can ad a little extra.

How was it to apply the Cosmic Spritz on the essence?

Piece of cake, a pleasure to work with. I don’t know if I even needed an extra wipe down in most places... Cosmic just melted into the paint it seemed.

My use with Essence was a disappointment in my mind, I have to improve my technique with it... but maybe nitpicking because the cars look great (just think they could have been glossier after Essence).

I have used both-- but neither as a stand alone

I must say I think the results are very clear in my case-- the cosmic V2 system over the Viking system not only WAY WAY cheaper buy out preforms it BY A MILE --- EASY

You are talking the system, i.e. coating + spritz, or just the spritz’s themselves on top of product X?

Edit: obviously you are talking full system since you say “system” the Spritz’s alone are the same price. Dumb question on my part.

I use the Viking coat on my wife's vw cc awd ,then use the Viking spritz a couple times a year specifically right before winter.
My black mustang got the v1 cosmic and the cosmic spritz a couple times a year, not a daily driver,it's on it's 4th year and still pops

I’d be interested in anyone else’s views of Cosmic Spritz vs Viking Spritz. I’ll obviously post once I have a vehicle to use Viking on or once I redo my existing vehicles.
