I offroad my tacoma often and have lots of pin stripes. I know they aren't coming out without buffing. I am less concerned with getting them our and more concerned with getting a good protectant on the paint. What products should Ilook at? My truck is black.

Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax was always good in my experience at making light or shallow swirls visually disappear.

Machine apply using any free spinning orbital polisher on a medium speed setting - allow to dry - wipe off and done.

Another method would be to machine apply a quality cleaner/wax and actually remove the swirls and scratches and leave the paint protected.

Both approaches should get your truck's paint to where you want it to look.

Prima Amigo does a pretty good job without being the oily type of glaze. It's has mild abrasives and something to cleanse the paint (mineral oil I think). The glaze is acrylic. Powerlock sealant has always worked well on top without any noticeable loss of durability.

Prima Banana Gloss fills very nicely.
