I have some very light surface marring and want to reapply my sealant, after all its been 5 mos. and I believe its due.
Do I need to do a IPA or can I go from 205 directly to sealant?

I personally would use IPA after the 205.

M205 is my go to polish and I’ve never done an IPA wipedown prior to applying sealant and have never had a problem.

Would that apply to M80 (speed glaze)?

I’ve never used M80 but I don’t see why not.

Not necessary unless you were applying a ceramic coating.

as others have stated you will be fine without an IPA wipedown..

IMO:
You can; you should; and, if you’re
the undaunted type: you will.

IPA and auto detailing should not be used in the same sentence.

When applying a typical wax or sealant, I use a quality DRY MF towel for a final wipe down before application of LSP and never had any issues.

If using a ceramic coating, I use the manufacturers suggested panel wipe.
