Apply DLux to new car headlights and taillights?

Would you recommend applying DLux to a new cars headlights and taillights? Have used after a headlight restoration, but not sure if there is benefit on a new car with crystal clear lenses on heads and tails.

Sure, adding more protection before it gets deteriorated is a good idea.
