What's the difference between
sio2, tio2, and ti22??

What about quartz coatings?

•SiO2: is a chemical compound
composed of silicon and oxygen.

•TiO2: is a chemical compound
composed of titanium and oxygen.

•Ti22: The atomic number of the
element titanium is 22.

•Quartz Coating:
One synonym of SiO2 happens to be silica.
Silica can be found in quartz (a mineral).
Note: silica can also be found in sand.

{It appears to me that the nomenclatures:
“Silica Coating”, “Quartz Coating”, and “SiO2
Coating” are all interchangeable.
Note: IMO, naming a paint Coating as being
a “Sand Coating” probably wouldn’t go over
too good with the buying public.}

It's also in glass, and it's the main element of computer chips such as microprocessors. Very versatile little bugger ;)
