Had a referral from my tint/ Xpel installer for this brand new GMC Sierra AT4 edition. This was my first look at the new GMC and it's definitely a head turner. Especially the AT4 edition with the bigger 6.2L V8 and massive factory Brembo breaks.

The owner had my guy install Xpel PPF on the whole nose and some other odds and ends. I was called in to correct the rest of the truck and apply a coating.

Prep

Ammo Frothe waterless wash

correction- Some areas needed some compounding which was handled with Rupes Duetto, BOSS microfiber pad and fast correcting cream. Then the whole truck was polished with Rupes Duetto, BS Yellow pad and Hyper polish

LSP- IGL Kenzo Premium 4 year coating, IGL Eclipse industrial coating was used on the plastic trim pieces. Ill be doing the wheels when he gets his new ones in.

Thanks Scott. Definitely a cool truck. Just not fond of the 70k price tag.

Not too long as it had come straight from the dealership and my buddy wrapped the nose. So only needed to do the roof, doors and bedsides. Probably 3-4 hours.

great job. I'm a little curious as to how much that tailgate weighs ? I like the concept, but I'm thinking for it to hold up it's got to be on the heavy side. I was always a ford truck guy & then they out priced themselves. then I was a gmc / chevy guy & then they out priced themselves. now I'm with dodge ram & the prices are a little better.

It is a bit heavier than normal but it automatically drops when the button is pushed and it goes up rather easy.

All the trucks are outrageous these days. This truck was 70k. For a 1500 gas truck.

Hell I just saw a brand-new loaded Ram mega cab 2500 for 100k. Ridiculous

The scary thing is because of incentives, it was less for me to buy brand new than it was 2 years old like I used to. If the truck market doesn't slow down, it's going to implode on itself.

You're half way across the country, but if you happen to know could you pm me the price of the PPF? I'm considering getting the front of my truck done to the fenders. I'd like to compare to my local quotes.

Congrats on the beautiful looking ride you have there. I have to tell you that when they look that good, defensive driving now includes avoiding puddles.
