IGL Ecocoat Premier (https://www.autogeek.net/igl-ecocoat-premier.html)

Interesting way to lay down a coating. With all the talk about the new Mothers CMX, just curious if anyone has experience with this product?

I don’t but just ordered some. It’s been discussed quite a bit, it’s supposed to have 6 months real world longevity and a typical SiO2 shine.

As a authorized IGL coatings installer I have plenty of use with this product.

How most of us use it is with a clean. Microfiber applicator pad. A little goes a long way. A couple sprays on the pad and work it back and forth in a criss cross pattern. Then buff off with a short nap towel. Use on a cool surface.

It's my go to sealant for vehicles not getting a coating and it's my topper for coating maintenance service.

I too am an IGL installer! Premier is great!

I would not consider is a true coating, however. More along the lines of a coating topper such as C2V3. The packaging says "Polysilixane" sealant.

Agree with Justin, a little goes a LONG way! Application is a walk in the park!

Best of luck!
