I recently bought a couple of packs of microfiber towels and I’ve run out of room in my three drawer plastic cabinet located in the garage. I’m going to have to cull some old towels but I still want to get something else so I can organize them better along with wash mitts, foam pads and applicators. I was going to get another cabinet the same dimensions of my current one and just stack it on top.

This got me thinking, how do you guys store your microfiber items?

I have two full sized plastic chests on casters in the garage. I’m going to need something else in addition though if I am to buy more MFs

And a follow up question...

Do you neatly fold and organize your towels or do you just toss them in the totes? I fold mine and kind of organize them in the drawers by purpose (paint, wheels, interior, glass, etc).

That’s what I do. I have a drawer for paint and glass alone. Everything else is folded neatly in its own place

Large plastic totes.

Hey bud, you can’t just leave out that they’re in a dedicated shed. That’s honestly the most crucial part of the storage system. It’s the first line of defense.

in a cabinet with a door. I should organize them better. Lately, I've been brushing out my MF towels after dryer (no heat) otherwise its all nappy.

Airtight plastic totes, so no dust gets in, ever.

I have a wood cabinet like a kitchen pantry style. I do fold and organize by use.

My regular use ones just get stacked on the cart.

Stored ones go into clear plastic wastebasket bags (the ones that cost 2-cents each at Costco) and tied up and stacked on a shelf in the garage.
