So I've been using Bead Maker on all the glass on my vehicles to test out hydrophobic properties and durability. Works great as expected for a couple months, .....but then my windshield got really streaky and almost looked like a hazy film on it, so bad I had so clean it with IPA to get it off to be able to see at night. I'm guessing this was happening as the BM was wearing off and breaking down. Anyone experience this too?

Thanks!

That’s similar behavior to Rain-X. What if you just applied more bead maker?

I have applied it to all my windows too, but haven't had it on that long. Will monitor as time goes on. I think I have had mine on for 2 weeks. No issues noticed so far.

You are probably better off with a dedicated quality glass coating like Aquapel, Pinnacle or Griots glass sealant.

I use them on my windshield, no problem here but I always reapply every now and then.

I have TAC system Rain Coat on all my glass but have also applied many other things ontop of it, including multiple coats of Beadmaker, water goes everywhere!
