How to replace a car wax with a ceramic paint coating?
Check out this video - about half way through it shows a car I waxed 4, 5 maybe 6 years ago and next week I'm going to REMOVE the wax and replace it with a ceramic paint coating. I know a lot of people want to do this so I'll show you how...

That title was a bit confusing. Thought you got rid of your car and were riding around in an empty bottle of ceramic coating or something. Lol

So it was waxed maybe 6 years ago and you have to remove the wax? Was it never driven in that period?

Long day - arrived at work at 6:00am did full exterior to 2019 Corvette. Next did a very thorough wash on a 2008 BMW.
Shot the FB Live video then created this link and by then it was after 7:00pm
So a good, hard and fast-paced 13 hour day.

Update
I just felt the paint on the Coupe using the Baggie Test and over the last 8 years some form of above surface contaminants have built-up on the paint.
I'm going to check with the owner and see if I can keep her for the upcoming 3-Day Bootcamp Class and use it for one of the training cars.
Training Cars for January 3-Day Bootcamp Class at Autogeek in Stuart, Florida 2018 (https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/information-for-autogeeks-3-day-detailing-classes-with-mike-phillips/121802-training-cars-january-3-day-bootcamp-class-autogeek-stuart-florida-2018-a.html)
I think the class will dig machine polishing this car and then learning how to chemically strip the paint and correctly apply a ceramic paint coating.
