Hello, I have new Infiniti. Just the other day I noticed a blueish discoloration/spot on the perforated leather passenger seat bottom. Can this be removed? Thanks

Have you already tried cleaning it and what products have you used? There are many leather cleaners available and one of my favorites is from Griot's Garage, which can be found here. Search (https://autogeek.ecomm-search.com/search?catalog=autogeek&submit=Go&_autodone=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.autogeek.net%2F&keywords=leather+cleaner&page=2)

To further help, can you please post a pic of the discoloration/spot?

If it has turned lighter than the original color then redyeing is the only solution. Use all cleaners in an inconspicuous spot before applying to the faces of the seat.

Some pictures would help with the diagnosis.

Could it possibly be color transfer from dark blue jeans? My car has light grey leather and there were some noticeable blue “stains” around the seams where the jeans would rub.

Another thought is maybe something “bleached” that area so that the dark color of leather dye has been lightened.

Did anyone sit on the seat wearing shorts or swimsuit with sunscreen on their bare legs?
