So forum member UncleDavy (Dave) and I finally got to meet up. He reached out to me and mentioned that he would like to swing by and that he had a little something for me. Sure enough he came by and brought me a nice pair of ice fishing gloves that work awesome for washing during cold weather!

What a great gesture. It was a pleasure to meet you finally and shoot the breeze about detailing.

Take care bud!

That’s cool. It’s nice to shoot the detailing breeze with another person who “gets it”.

It was a pleasure meeting you Justin and I am happy for your success. Thanks for the Wolfgang Uber.
I am still trying to improve my polishing technique and I am in awe of guys like you who can work magic with the machine. Feel free to stop by Taunton any time and bring the kids. They would probably enjoy this.

:iagree: This & this!

Even though I am on the other side of the planet to most AGO forum members I have been very fortunate to have met a handful of forum members in person & Don (fly07sti) being one of them is exactly right - it is nice to talk detailing with like minded people. :dblthumb2:

Paul A, you hit the nail on the head here too! This forum is so much the richer for having folks like UncleDavy & Justin at Final Inspection a part of it. Yup - I'm diggin' the train set up too. :xyxthumbs:

Wow so cool! I live in Southern California and our weather is not too cold. But seeing the pics of UncleDavey train, cars and model sets are absolutely incredible! Beautiful hobby you have! Keep on Rocking!

Nice gesture Uncle Davy.

Seeing the pictures of the trains set brought back a lot of memories when I was younger.

Dave is as genuine as they come! Showed my boys the pics of the train set and there eyes lit up.

As for the gloves, they have been working mint! Much easier than using my cotton stretchy gloves with nitrile gloves over the top. They seem to be made out of wet suit material.

Here is a pic. Also a little hint of what's curing in the back ground

I am so glad that the gloves worked well for you Justin. I also use them to shovel snow and they are great for making snow balls. You will have to show us more of that project car.

Very cool.

It's been a while since I needed anything to keep my hands or body warm while detailing a car. Usually it's just the opposite - I need something to cool me down.
