Hello all. Do Rupes polishers have a cut and gloss scale like Menzerna (example Menzerna MC2400 cut 7 gloss 6) or a cut guide like Meguiar's does on their bottles? The reason I am asking I am going to use Rupes polishers only.

Merry Christmas to all
Brendon

I found this thread

https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/rupes-bigfoot-oribital-polishers/96188-rupes-pad-compound-recommendation-charts.html

Then there’s also Autopia’s Polish Comparison Chart for reference

Updated 2/2017: Autopia Polish Comparison Chart! (https://www.autopia.org/forums/paint-correction-and-gloss-enhancement/187053-updated-2-2017-autopia-polish-comparison-chart.html)

Rupes are color coded. Blue coarsest, Green,Yellow, and finally White the finest. You can also use the wool and micro pads that are color coded.Lake country HDO pads work well also with your favorite polishes on Rupes machines.

I wish someone from Autopia customer service would update those charts. They make a great reference but are getting a little out of date, especially with a new polish or compound arriving daily.
